The U.S. ranks 36th in onions
According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, Americans consume ten kilograms per capita each year, which makes the United State tied for thirty-sixth with several other countries. Libya ranks first, consuming thirty kilograms of onions per capita per year.
