The U.S. ranks 2nd in beer consumption

According to the Kirin Institute of Food and Lifestyle, in 2008 Americans consumed 14.1% of all the beer in the world, which is enough to make the United States rank second in that category. China ranks first, consuming 22.9% of the world’s beer.
