The U.S. ranks 1st in pigeon imports

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2008 the United States imported 540,000 head of “pigeons, other birds,” or 44.6% of the world’s total pigeon imports. That was enough to make the United States rank first in that category.
