The U.S. ranks 11th in sexual activity

According to the 2005 Durex Global Sex Survey, Americans have sex 113 times a year, on average, which makes the United States rank eleventh in that category. Greece ranks first, with an average of 138 sexual encounters each year. The global average is 103 sexual encounters each year.

The U.S. ranks 3rd in foreign tourists

According to the June, 2008, issue of the UNWTO Tourism Barometer, 56,000,000 foreign tourists visited the United States in 2007, making the U.S. rank third in that category. France ranked first, with 81,900,000 foreign tourists.

The U.S. ranks 30th in growth of automobile manufacturing

According to OICA, the United States ranked thirtieth in terms of the growth of automobile manufacturing between 2006 and 2007, with a net decline of 4.5% in that time. Slovakia had an increase of 93.3% during the same time, ranking first in that category. The global average for growth in automobile manufacturing was 5.7%.

The U.S. ranks 4th in automobile manufacturing

According to OICA, in 2007 the United States ranked fourth in terms of the number of automobiles manufactured, with 3,924,268 cars made that year. Japan ranked first with 9,944,637 cars made.
