The U.S. ranks 1st in carbon dioxide emissions

According to the World Resources Institute, five countries (the United States, China, Russia, Japan, and India) contribute more than fifty percent of the world’s total carbon dioxide emissions. The United States ranks first, contributing 22% of the total.

    Hey, make up your mind. You say USA is second and on the same day, you say it is first. What is the actual data?

    Actually, I initially posted that the USA was first. I updated that post when I discovered that China had surpassed the USA, and that the USA is now second. Thanks for asking!
