The U.S. ranks 1st in peanut butter exports
According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2006 the United States exported 24,321 tonnes of peanut butter in 2006, which was 35% of the world’s total peanut butter exports. This was enough to make the United States rank first in that category. Four countries–the United States, China, Canada, and the Netherlands–accounted for 94% of all peanut butter exports.
