The U.S. ranks 3rd in cut-flower exports

According to the USDA report, “World Horticultural Trade: July 2003 1 Trade Data Edition,” in 2002 the United States exported around forty-eight million dollars worth of cut flowers; about 4% of the world’s total cut-flower exports that year. That was enough to make the United States rank third in that category. Colombia ranked first, with 46% of the world’s cut-flower exports.
