The U.S. ranks 7th in monetary freedom

According to the Heritage Foundation’s 2009 Index of Economic Freedom, the United States has a monetary freedom score of 84, which makes it rank seventh in that category. Singapore ranks first, with a monetary freedom score of 86.8.
