The U.S. ranks 10th in margarine

According to the International Trade Centre, in 2005 the United States imported $50,386,000 worth, or 2.53% of the world’s total imports of margarine and shortening, enough to make the United States rank tenth in that category. France ranked first, importing $222,688,000 worth, or 11.20% of the world total.
