The U.S. ranks 54th in cassava

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2003, Americans consumed a total of 33,636 tonnes of cassava, enough to make the United States rank fifty-fourth in that category. The Democratic Republic of Congo ranked first, consuming 15,872,383 tonnes.
