The U.S. ranks 36th in onions

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, Americans consume ten kilograms per capita each year, which makes the United State tied for thirty-sixth with several other countries. Libya ranks first, consuming thirty kilograms of onions per capita per year.

The U.S. ranks 5th in cesarean section

According to the World Health Organization, in the years from 2000 to 2006, twenty-three percent of all births in the United States were by cesarean section, which makes the United States tied for fifth with Hungary out of seventy six reporting countries. The Dominican Republic ranked first, with 31% of births by cesarean section.
