The U.S. ranks 6th in unemployment
The United States continues to move up the ladder of OECD nations in terms of unemployment rates. As reported here previously, in December 2008 the United States ranked seventh. According to the OECD, as of March, the United States ranked sixth, with an unemployment rate of 8.5%. Spain continues to rank first, with an unemployment rate of 17.4% in March 2009.
