The U.S. ranks 18th in public pensions
According to the OECD, the United States spends 6.8% of the Net National Income (NNI) on public pensions, which makes the United States rank eighteenth out of thirty OECD nations in that category. Italy ranks first, at 16.6%. The OECD average is 8.5%.
