The U.S. ranks 10th in iron and steel

According to the International Trade Centre, in 2005 the United States exported $1,735,282,000 worth of iron and steel bars, rods, angles, and shapes, enough to make the United States rank tenth in that category. Germany ranks first, exporting $5,333,026,000 worth of iron and steel.

According to the International Trade Centre, in 2005 the United States exported $2,770,123,000 worthe of glass, or 11.1% of the world’s total glass exports. That was enough to make the United States rank second in that category. Germany ranked first, exporting $2,817,000,000, or 11.3% of the world total.
