The U.S. ranks 44th in rail density

According to the World Bank, there are 2.5 kilometers of rail line per 100 square kilometers in the United States, which makes the United States rank forty-fourth in that category. St. Kitts and Nevis ranks first, with 13.9 kilometers of rail per 100 square kilometers.
