The U.S. ranks 12th in potential net migration

According to a poll conducted by the Gallup Corporation, the United States has a Potential Net Migration Index (PNMI) value of 60%. This makes the United States rank twelfth out of 135 nations. Singapore ranks first, with a PNMI value of 260%.

According to the Gallup website, “The Potential Net Migration Index is the estimated number of adults who would like to move permanently out of a country subtracted from the estimated number who would like to move into it, as a proportion of the total adult population.”
