The U.S. ranks 26th in chick pea prices

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the producer price for chick peas in the United States was $593.00 per tonne, which makes the United States rank twenty-sixth out of forty-five chick pea producing nations. Syria ranks first, with a producer price of $3672.78/tonne.
