The U.S. ranks 4th in cherry consumption

According to the USDA, in 2009-2010 Americans consumed 205,750 metric tonnes of fresh cherries (sweet and sour), which makes the United States rank fourth out of fifteen ranked economies in that category. The EU-27 nations ranked first, consuming 410,510 metric tonnes.
