According to the OECD, the inflation rate in the United States between September 2009 to September 2010 was 1.1%, which makes the United States rank twenty-fifth out of twenty eight ranked countries. Turkey ranks first, with an inflation rate of 9.2% during that time period.

According to data gathered between 2000 and 2010 by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States withdrew 15.53% of its total renewable freshwater resources, which makes the United States rank sixtieth in that category. Kuwait ranks first, withdrawing 2075% of its total renewable freshwater resources in 2002.

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, the United States withdraws an estimated 478.40 cubic kilometers of groundwater each year, which makes the United States rank third in the world in that category. India ranks first, withdrawing an estimated 761.00 cubic kilometers per year.

According to the World Health Organization, in 2008, 94% of rural Americans had access to improved drinking water sources, which makes the United States rank sixty-fourth in the world in that category. More than twenty countries tied for first, each with 100% access to improved drinking water sources.

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States had a cream supply of 7102 metric tonnes, which makes the United States rank thirty-third out of one hundred fifty-four ranked countries. Germany ranks first, with a cream supply of 530,629 tonnes.

According to the World Values Survey, 7.6% of Americans say that euthanasia is “always justifiable,” which makes the United States rank thirty-second out of fifty-five countries ranked in that category. Andorra ranks first, with 39.0% saying that euthanasia is “always justifiable.”

The U.S. ranks 54th in education expenditures

According to the CIA World Factbook, in 2005 the United States spent an estimated 5.30% of its GDP on education, which makes the United States tied for fifty-fourth in that category with Belize, Jamaica, and the Netherlands, out of  one hundred eighty-two ranked countries. Kiribati ranks first, at 17.80%.

The U.S. ranks 5th in cottonseed oil

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2009 the United States produced 285,700 metric tonnes of cottonseed oil, or 6.0% of the world total. That was enough to make the United States rank fifth out of eighty-eight cottonseed oil producing nations. China ranks first, at 1,746,400 metric tonnes, or 36.7% of the world total.

According to the Global Footprint Network, the United States has a biocapacity of 5.02 global hectares per person, which makes the United States rank twenty-third in that category. Gabon ranks first, with a per capita biocapacity of 24.97 global hectares.
