According to the World Health Organization, 21% of United States citizens are under 15 years of age, this makes the United States rank 143rd in that category. Uganda ranks first with 49% of its population under 15.

According to data collected by the United Nations, the United States used 35.94% of the world’s nitrous oxide in 2009, which makes the United States rank first in that category.

The U.S. ranks 8th in barley production

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, the United States produced 5.08 million tonnes of barley in 2009, which makes the United States rank eighth in that category. Russia ranks first with 15.56 million tonnes.

The U.S. ranks 28th in military expenditures by percent GDP

According to the CIA World Factbook, the United States spends approximately 4.06% of its GDP on the military, which makes the U.S. rank twenty-eighth in that category. Oman ranked first, spending 11.4% of its GDP on the military.

The U.S. ranks 2nd in gold imports

According to the International Trade Centre, the United States imported 4.4 billion dollars worth of  gold in 2009, which makes the United States rank second in that category. India ranks first with 10.9 billion dollars worth of gold imported.
