The U.S. ranks 17th in sheep exports

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States ranked seventeenth in the export of sheep with 116,579 heads of sheep. Australia ranked first at 3,773,029 heads of sheep exported.

The U.S. ranks 4th in daily newspapers circulated

According to UNESCO, in 2004 there were 57,347,000 daily newspapers circulated in the United States, which makes the United States rank fourth in that category. China ranks first, with 96,704,000 daily newspapers circulated that year.

The U.S. ranks 11th in concentrated apple juice exports

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, the United States exported 25,565 tonnes of concentrated apple juice in 2007. This was 3.6% of the world’s total concentrated apple juice exports and was enough for the United States to rank eleventh in that category. Poland ranked first, exporting 147,141 tonnes of concentrated apple juice or 20.5% of the total world exports.

The U.S. ranks 19th in foreign students studying education

According to data compiled by the OECD in 2007, 3% of foreign college students in the United States are studying education, making the United States rank nineteenth out of twenty-seven OECD countries in that category. Turkey ranks first, with 9.5% of foreign students studying education.

The U.S. ranks 1st in banana imports

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States imported 4,003,801 tonnes of bananas, or 25% of the world total. That makes the United States rank first in that category.
