According to the World Resources Institute, there are 195 amphibian species endemic to the United States. That is enough to make the United States rank seventh in that category. Brazil ranks first, with 454 endemic amphibian species.

According to the World Resources Institute, there are 285 known amphibian species in the United States, which makes the United States tied for seventh with Indonesia in that category. Brazil ranks first with 695 known amphibian species.

According to the World Resources Institute, there are 53 threatened amphibian species in the United States, a number that makes the United States tied for thirteenth with Cameroon in that category. Colombia ranks first, with 209 threatened amphibian species.
