The U.S. ranks 2nd in raisin exports

According to the USDA, in 2009-2010, the United States exported 150,000 metric tons of raisins, or 21.6% of the world’s total raisin exports, which is enough to make the United States rank second out of twenty ranked countries in that category. Turkey ranks first, exporting 250,000 metric tons, or 36.0% of the world total.

The U.S. ranks 1st in beet pulp exports

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States exported 441,130 tonnes of beet pulp, or 19.7% of the world’s beet pulp exports. That was enough to make the United States rank first in that category.

The U.S. ranks 5th in exports of lemons and limes

According to FAO Stat, the United States exported 147,311 tonnes of lemons and limes in 2007. This was 3.8% of the world’s total lemon and lime exports and was enough for the United States to rank fifth out of 142 countries in this category. Mexico ranked first, exporting 462,868 tonnes of lemons and limes, or 11.7% of the world’s total exports.

The U.S. ranks 17th in sheep exports

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States ranked seventeenth in the export of sheep with 116,579 heads of sheep. Australia ranked first at 3,773,029 heads of sheep exported.

The U.S. ranks 11th in concentrated apple juice exports

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, the United States exported 25,565 tonnes of concentrated apple juice in 2007. This was 3.6% of the world’s total concentrated apple juice exports and was enough for the United States to rank eleventh in that category. Poland ranked first, exporting 147,141 tonnes of concentrated apple juice or 20.5% of the total world exports.

The U.S. ranks 13th in pig exports

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States ranked thirteenth out of sixty-three countries in the export of pigs with 136,716 heads of pigs. Canada ranked first at 10,031,949 heads of pig exported.

The U.S. ranks 5th in apple exports

According to FAO Stat, the United States exported 663,465 tonnes of apples in 2007. This was 7.8% of the world’s total apple exports and was enough for the United States to rank fifth in that category. Chile ranked first, exporting 1,549,269 tonnes of apples or 18.2% of the total world exports.

According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States exported 20,908 tonnes of chick peas, or 2.5% of the world’s total chick pea exports. That was enough to make the United States rank ninth out of one hundred and fifteen ranked nations. India ranked first, exporting 161,772 tonnes, or 19.6% of the world total.

The U.S. ranks 44th in exports footprint

According to the Global Footprint Network, exports in the United States have an exports footprint of 1.77 global hectares per person, an amount that makes the United States forty-fourth in that category. Belgium ranks first, with its exports footprint for imports at 18.19 global hectares per person.

According to the International Trade Centre, in 2008 the United States exported $1,117,382,000 worth of unexposed, sensitized photographic film rolls, or 31.0% of the world total. That was enough to make the United States rank first in that category.
