The U.S. ranks 3rd in Jewish population

According to the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, an estimated 1.8% of Americans are Jewish, which makes the United States rank third out of more than two hundred countries ranked in that category. Israel ranks first, with 75.6% of Israelis being Jewish. Only six countries have Jewish populations equalling one percent or more of the total population: Israel, Gibraltar, United States, Monaco, Belize, and Canada.

The U.S. ranks 47th in infant survival

According to the CIA World Factbook, in 2011 it is estimated that 6.06 infants die per 1,000 lives births in the United States, which makes the United States tied for forty-seventh with the Faroe Islands in that category. Monaco ranks first, with 1.79 deaths per 1,000 live births.

The U.S. ranks 191st in tuberculosis rates

According to the World Health Organization, in 2006 the United States had a tuberculosis prevalence rate of 3 per 100,000 population, which made the United States tied for one hundred and ninety first with Iceland (out of 193 countries) in that category. Djibouti ranked first, with a rate of 1300 out of 100,000. Monaco ranked last, with a rate of 2 per 100,000.

The U.S. ranks 190th in tuberculosis deaths

According to the World Health Organization, in 2006 the mortality rate for non-HIV related tuberculosis in the United States was 0 per 100,000 population, which made the United States tied for one-hundred and ninetieth, or last, in that category with Canada, Iceland, and Monaco. The country with the highest mortality rate for non-HIV related tuberculosis was Djibouti, at 115 per 100,000 population.
