The U.S. ranks 11th in televisions
According to the World Bank, 98% of U.S. households had a television in 2005, which makes the United States tied for eleventh with Ireland, Malta, Poland, Latvia, Iceland, Turkey, Netherlands, Hungary, and Lithuania. Greece and Portugal tied for first, both with 100% of households having at least one television.
The U.S. ranks 4th in women’s 400m gold medals
According to olympic.org, the United States has won one Olympic gold medal in the women’s 400m run, or 8.3% of all gold medals awarded in that event. That makes the United States tied for fourth with Great Britain, the Bahamas, Poland, and the Soviet Union. France ranks first, winning three gold medals, or 25.0% of all gold medals awarded in that event.
The U.S. ranks 11th in concentrated apple juice exports
According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, the United States exported 25,565 tonnes of concentrated apple juice in 2007. This was 3.6% of the world’s total concentrated apple juice exports and was enough for the United States to rank eleventh in that category. Poland ranked first, exporting 147,141 tonnes of concentrated apple juice or 20.5% of the total world exports.

The U.S. ranks 2nd in turkey imports
According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2007 the United States imported 7,703,000 head of turkey in 2007, or 14.1% of the world’s total turkey imports, which made the United States rank second in that category. Poland ranked first, importing 12,559,000 head, or 23.0% of the world total.
The U.S. ranks 140th in meningitis deaths
According to the World Health Organization, in 2002, 0.4 Americans per 100,000 populations died from meningitis, a rate that makes the United States tied for one hundred and fortieth (with Gabon, Oman, France, Cape Verde, Poland, Italy, Singapore, and Austria) in that category. Haiti ranked first, with 73.9 deaths per 100,000 population.
