According to Gallup, 75% of Americans feel safe walking alone at night in the area where they live. That makes the United States tied for thirtieth with Armenia and Sudan in that category. Rwanda ranks first, with 92% of Rwandans feeling safe at night.

The U.S. ranks 30th in approval of India’s leadership

According to the Gallup organization, 34% of Americans approve of the job performance of India’s political leaders, which makes the United States rank thirtieth out of ninety-five countries ranked in that category. Rwanda ranks first, with 71% of Rwandans approving of the leadership of India.

The U.S. ranks 70th in women in government

According to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, 16.8% of federally elected officials in the United States are women, which makes the United States tied for seventieth with Turkmenistan in that category. Rwanda ranks first, at 56.3%.

The U.S. ranks 93rd in urban population growth

According to the World Bank, the United States had an average annual urban population growth rate of 1.6% between 1990 and 2005, which was enough to make the United States tied for ninety-third with Macedonia and the Netherlands in that category. Rwanda ranked first, with an average annual urban population growth rate of 12.4%.
