The U.S. ranks 53rd in approval of Russian leadership
According to a 2010 survey by Gallup, 27% of American approve of the job performance of Russia’s leadership, which makes the United States tied for fifty-third with Cyprus out of one hundred four countries ranked in that category. Tajikistan ranks first, with 94% of respondents approving of the job performance of Russia’s leadership.
The U.S. ranks 92nd in fish protein
According to the World Resources Institute, the typical American gets 4.1% of her or his total protein supply from fish, which makes the United States rank ninety-second in that category. The Maldives rank first, with 54.8% of the their protein coming from fish. The world average is 6.5%. At the other end of the spectrum are Lesotho and Tajikistan, which get virtually no protein from fish.
The U.S. ranks 10th in tobacco and beverages
According to the USDA, Americans spend, on average, 28.71% of their food budget on tobacco and beverages, which makes the United States rank tenth out of 114 countries in that category.
The United Kingdom ranks first, spending an average of 47.53% of their per capita food budget on tobacco and beverages. Tajikistan ranks last, spending an average of 1.19% of their per capita food budget on tobacco and beverages.
The global average in this category is 15.91%. The country closest to the world average is Italy, at 16.18%.
