The U.S. ranks 15th in literacy

According to the OECD (as reported in NationMaster), the United States ranks fifteenth of twenty-seven member nations in terms of reading literacy. Finland ranks first.

    Well, in how many languages?

    These statistics are inaccurate because they are forgetting to count population levels of bilingualism or even trilingualism.

    The US might possibly rank even lower if you add this hypothesis. We need to talk about this, because there’s also a connection with mental illness, and frequencies of vocabularies through private art.
