The U.S. ranks 11th in fourth grade math

According to Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study, in 2011 the average United States fourth-grade reading score was 541, which makes the United States rank eleventh out of fifty countries ranked in that category. Singapore ranks first, with a score of 606. Here is the list of the top eleven countries and their scores:

    The US students are not so bad at the International A+Click competition at http://www.aplusclick.com. They are often on the first place in the “Hall of Fame”.

    I don’t know how US students fare when ranked by state. This blog is designed to report global rankings that are generated by various bodies for whom such rankings are important.
