The U.S. ranks 59th in women and girls

According to the World Bank, in 2010 the female population in the United States accounted for 50.7% of the total population, which made the United States tied for fifty-ninth in that category with Eritrea, Central African Republic, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, Benin, Mexico, Belize, and the Kyrgyz Republic. Latvia and Ukraine ranked first, with females accounting for 54.0% of their total populations.

The U.S. ranks 109th in population in largest city

According to the World Bank, 8% of Americans live in the largest city in the United States (i.e. New York City). That makes the United States tied for one-hundred-ninth in that category with Italy, Malaysia, and Ukraine. Hong Kong and Singapore tie for first, at 100%.

The U.S. ranks 56th in cardiovascular disease deaths

According to the World Health Organization, in 2002 the United States had a cardiovascular disease death rate of 317 per 100,000 people, which made the United States rank fifty-sixth in that category. Ukraine ranked first, with a cardiovascular disease death rate of 1032.4 per 100,000.

All of the top ten countries in this category are in Eastern Europe.
