The U.S. ranks 13th in arts funding

According to the Canada Council for the Arts, in 2003 the American government distributed the equivalent of 44¢ (Canadian) per capita in public arts grants, which made the United States rank thirteenth out of thirteen countries in that category. Sweden ranked first, distributing $28.38 (Canadian) per capita in arts grants.

I can connect this with the rise in anxiety and mental illness in the US.

To sum it down… Boredom is driving us crazy, and gaining short entertainment through private art is almost the equivalent of doing drugs. Well could possibly lead you to drugs… Since you’re bored and all. I hope someone understands how this is very damaging for US teenagers and children.
