The U.S. ranks 10th in potato exports
According to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, in 2004 the United States exported $72,595,000 worth of potatoes, or 3.3% of the world’s total potato exports. That was enough to make the United States rank tenth in that category. The Netherlands ranked first, exporting $497,983,000, or 22.7% of the world total.
